How committed are you to your walk with God? How committed should you be? Think about how committed Jesus was when he died on the cross for you. I thought about these two questions and I realize that I am far from a full commitment to him when I examine my own life. I believe that I should be wholly committed to him, but I know that I am not. Jesus went all in and held nothing back.
A full commitment doesn’t mean that we don’t have room in our lives for anything else. That would be an impossibility. It means that our loyalties, our devotion, and our hearts belong to him. The goal and drive behind what we do is to please and serve him. When we seek him and his kingdom first, all other things fall into proper line and order. If we commit to that, he will cause our plans to be successful!
A less than fully committed heart is divided and we find ourselves trying to live in two separate worlds. This does not please God and it sets us up for failure and disappointment. We are not only robbing God , but we are robbing ourselves. He deserves nothing less than our highest praise and full commitment. Be fully committed to him and watch the affect it has on the rest of your life!
