In a previous blog (July 14) I detailed how my wife and I felt a calling to join in praying for our state and the states bordering it. On July 13 we drove up to the border of Arkansas and Missouri to cover both states in prayer.
Yesterday we drove to the two states on our western border, Oklahoma and Texas. It involved a full day of driving, a commitment of time, and dedicated prayer at two locations. We have now covered our northern and western borders in prayer but we are not alone.
We have read reports that thousands of others from all fifty states and Washington DC are doing the same thing. God tells us in His Word that He is there wherever two or more are gathered in His name. Imagine the strength and power in the prayers of thousands praying for America and all of the individual states!
Matthew 18:20 (NLT) - “For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
