So many of the things I have been praying for and about have come out with positive results lately and I am so thankful to God for that! Not all of my prayers get answered in the way that I want or ask for though. I’m okay with that. The results are not up to me and who God is does not change based upon the results of my prayers. He instructs us to pray, but the results are in his hands.
I simply cannot begin to know or understand why or how he chooses to answer our prayers, but I do know, with all of my heart and soul that, in his infinite wisdom, his plan is far greater than I could ever imagine or comprehend. I could write volumes if I listed all the “yes” and “no” answers to my prayers. Yet I will keep on praying regardless of the results! Why? Because I love God… and he told me to.
1 Thessalonians 5 (NLT) - “Never stop praying.”
