We see a lot on the news about politics and how our elected officials are supposed to represent their constituents. All of their words and actions reflect on the state or district that elected them. For better or worse, good or bad, or right or wrong, a whole group is judged by the behavior of that representative.
As Christians, we are representatives of Christ. The church we attend, our denomination, or even the entire body of Christ, and even Christ himself, are judged by what we say or do. The world is watching and we need to be good representatives of Jesus.
Colossians 3:17 (NLT) - “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.”
