Okay, don’t let all of this COVID-19/Coronavirus stuff drive you too crazy. Take it seriously, because it is very serious, even fatal for some. But don’t let it steal your joy and peace. Keep everything in perspective and realize that we have gone through these events before. It may be your first and it definitely isn’t a pleasant thing. It is inconvenient to say the least, costly for most of us, and has interrupted normalcy for an undetermined amount of time.
Ride it out with a positive, can-do attitude, put your faith, hope, and trust in God, and listen to the directions the authorities are providing. Combined with wisdom and good common sense, these things will bring you through just fine. Look for opportunities to be a conduit of God’s mercy and grace to others. There are so many ways you can bless people who may just need some reassurance, a warm smile, or a little advice. Be ready to give out of your own abundance.
These days are primed for Jesus to shine. Don’t hide His light. Instead, put Him on display through the testimony of your words and actions. Keep your head up, a smile on your face, and share His love to all. Don’t go Corona crazy!
Matthew 5:16 (NLT) - “In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”
