Have you ever contemplated the universe or the concept of infinity? No beginning and no end. When I lay on the ground and look up at the stars on a cloudless night I am awestruck by the vastness of the universe. If you could travel through space and keep going forever would you find the end? My finite brain tells me that’s impossible. What is beyond the end because it truly wouldn’t be the end, would it? That affirms my belief in the Creator.
The earth we live on is just an imperceptible dot in the universe that surrounds it. We cannot truly comprehend all of God’s creation and how it all works together to give us life and sustain us. He formed us and created us in His image and for his pleasure. He is the potter and we are the clay.
God is the one who is, who was, and who is to come. He has always existed and is eternal. He alone knows the answers to the mysteries of His creation. He is enthroned on high but dwells in our hearts. He loves us with an immeasurable and unequalled love. He never wavers or changes. What a mighty God we serve!
