Ever feel like you’re out of gas when your tank is full? More appropriately, my heart is full. Christmas day was such a joyful day and I am surrounded by some of my children and grandchildren. More are inbound tomorrow!
This is an exhaustingly wonderful vacation. Being out of your own home is always tiring because you are uprooted from your own routines and away from your bed, your favorite chair, everything that is normal and familiar about your everyday life. But it is SO worth it! I look forward to establishing a new routine, in a new place, closer to my family because I do not like living so far away.
I love watching my grandchildren play, say the cutest, silliest things, and growing up right before my eyes. It’s a part of who I am and what makes me tick. Life is at its best when I can be near the family that God has blessed me with. I don’t take them for granted I thank him every day for this greatest of blessings!
