The Bible says a lot about seeking. For example, in Matthew 7:7b (NLT) it says, "Keep on seeking, and you will find." The most important thing about seeking is that you have to know what you are looking for. Do you ever go shopping and not know what you're shopping for? Okay, that was a bad example. Have you ever played hide and seek without knowing who you were seeking?
God tells us to seek him first. When we do that, all of the other "things" that we are looking for, or worrying about, or needing will be taken care of. How do we seek God? The most obvious way is to read the Bible... study his Word. Pray to him and listen. Be still and quiet so that you can hear him speaking to your heart. He has a lot to say to you!
Luke 12:31 (NLT) - "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need."
