Innocence of Children

I can’t help but wondering, as I observe young children at school and at play, how their lives will turn out and what they will be like as teenagers and adults. Some, but not all, seem so sweet and innocent now. My heart breaks for the ones who are not because I imagine their home life is not the greatest. That is, of course, pure speculation on my part.

Children are a gift from God and need loving, nurturing, and supportive families that provide them with consistent guidance in a safe environment. I love to see their eyes lit up, smiles on their faces, and not a care in the world. They are our future and we must protect them at all costs!

Psalms 22:30 (NLT) - “Our children will also serve him. Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord.”
