My wife is home and I am back to my normal workplace and routine. Our lives are so blessed even though it seems as if everything is so topsy turvy right now with our family split in three different locales, along with our hearts. In spite of all that, it is good to regroup back home, get our spiritual batteries recharged with our church family, and be together in our home of almost 27 years.
We are both feeling incredibly overwhelmed right now with all that we have been through in the last few months and all that lays before us in the coming months, but we are not crushed or defeated. I am amazed and thankful for the wife and lifelong partner that God blessed me with almost 40 years ago. She astounds me with the strength, energy, and character that she displays in carrying such a load, while never losing her joy and faith. I could not do this without her.
This truly is a good life… a GREAT life!
Galatians 6:9 (NLT) - “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
