God is constantly sending opportunities your way. I’m talking about opportunities to minister to people in his name. Think about all of the people who have crossed your path this week that had a need that you could meet. It may have been something as simple as just listening to them talk about something that has gone wrong in their life. Have you ever had one of those conversations and then, when they finally walked away with a smile on their face, you realized that God must have orchestrated that.
These are ministry moments. Keep your spiritual eyes open for these times. You never know when God will send someone across your path that needs the very gift he has equipped you with.
Holidays are very emotional times for a lot of people so, as we are entering this season, be aware of this fact. Be God’s witness to his children and share his love by being ready with a word, a hug, or just your presence. Always be ready!
1 Peter 3:15 (NLT) - “Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.”
