Before you start the race that your day will likely become, take a long pause and pray. It may require that you get up a few minutes earlier. Spend some time with the Father and devote yourself to prayer and reading the Word. Tithe the first part of your day to him! Give that to him and start your day off right.
You will be amazed at how much better your attitude will be and the positive effect it will have on your day as you begin it with God. It puts you in a position to be blessed by him because you have made him your first priority. He should always be number one in your life so that everything else will fall into proper order.
Let him fill your heart with joy and give you an encouraging word so that you will face your day head on with boldness and confidence. Share what you have read with someone else so they may also be encouraged. When you have finished your time with God you will be prepared to get into your starting blocks. Ready, set, go!
Colossians 3:16 (NLT) - βLet the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.β
