Pray For Each Other

We often pray for people who are experiencing physical pain in their lives at church. I firmly believe God cares about that, but he also wants to go deeper and heal the emotional pain that we carry. He wants to take away all our burdens, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Give it all to Jesus and let him free you from whatever has come against you.

Don’t try to carry your burden alone. Share it with fellow believers and ask them to pray for you. Where two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, he is there among you to hear your prayers. So join together and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The timing of God’s answers to our prayers, the manner in which he answers them, and the final results are up to him, but he tells us to pray.

James 5:16 (NLT) - “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
