How much do you share the Gospel with others? I do it here… but that’s easy. I don’t think I’m fulfilling the Great Commission if this is the only place that I tell others about what God has done for me. It’s a start and I hope that in some way I can encourage others through my blog. But God called us to go into all the world and teach the Good News to everyone everywhere!
That starts with your family and friends, or your neighbors and coworkers. Reach out to people around you that are part of your life. Open your eyes and you will see people that need Jesus. How will they know if you don’t tell them? Don’t think for a second that it’s someone else’s job. It’s certainly not a pastor’s job. Many of them will never see a pastor because they may not walk through the doors of a church.
It is not your responsibility to save them, only to share the Gospel with them. If someone is drowning and you throw them a flotation device, it is up to them to grab it and survive… you have done your part. Tell others about Jesus so they will have the opportunity to answer his call!
Mark 16:15 (NLT) - And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
