I love to encourage and bring uplifting words to brighten your day. That is always the goal of my blogs. We serve a loving God that wants to save us all and does not want anyone to perish. That is why he sent his one and only son, Jesus, to take our place on the cross and die for our sins. He did not come into the world to condemn the world, but to save it.
But I would be negligent if I didn’t remind you that there is a day when the Lord will come. No one knows the day or moment. It will be as unexpected as a thief in the night. Those of us who are Christians will be with him in eternity, but those who have not received him will spend eternity separated from God.
This is why he gave the Great Commission for all of us to go into all the world and share the Good News, the Gospel, and draw everyone to him. It is imperative that, as parents, we raise up our children to know Jesus and lead them to him. Our family is our first mission field. Then we need to reach out to others and tell them about him. How will they know if you don’t tell them?
When Jesus returns will you be ready? Will your family be ready? Will your friends be ready? Let’s all be ready!
2 Peter 3:10 (TPT) - “The day of the Lord will come and take everyone by surprise - as unexpected as a home invasion. The atmosphere will be set on fire and vanish with a horrific roar, and the heavenly bodies will melt away as in a tremendous blaze. The earth and every activity of man will be laid bare.”
