I’ve been battling with “Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo” for the past few weeks”, according to my doctor’s diagnosis yesterday. Basically, I have some ear rocks loose in my head, so I’ve been dizzy and losing my perspective. I roll over in bed and it feels like I’m rolling down a hill. Sometimes when I walk down a hallway, it feels like someone is tilting the building to the right. I’m almost over it now, but it’s been a strange feeling when it hits.
When we lose our perspective, our whole world can shift and change our view of where we’re going and what we believe is right or normal. Everything seems confusing and out of whack. It’s hard to walk a straight path without bumping into something. There is a danger of falling or getting injured if we don’t slow down and regain our perspective.
Once it rights itself, everything suddenly becomes crystal clear and refocused. We see everything as it really is and take normal strides as we walk a straight path. Keep focused, slow down if you need to, and keep a good perspective on where you are going at all times. As always, let the Lord be your constant guide!
