Have you ever been praying really hard for something and you just knew that God was going to pull through for you, but it seemed to be taking forever? That may be the moment when you suddenly realize that you are the problem and the reason that your prayer hasn’t been answered yet. You just need to step back and get out of the way!
We could be trying to force God to answer a prayer in a way that does not fit into his greater plan or direction for our lives. When we submit our prayer and petition to him, we should trust him to answer it at a time and in a way that we might not always expect. But if that’s the case, know that it is because he loves and cares for you and knows what is best for you.
Ask God for anything, out of a pure and thankful heart, and then get out of his way and watch as he responds to you and gives you the desires of your heart.
