My wife is home, we sat together in church, we ate with a friend at our usual Sunday lunchtime spot, and we’re going through all our normal routines. The only thing that isn’t perfect is that I’m writing while sitting in my recliner as sleepiness attempts to overtake me.
Although it’s good to occasionally break a routine and do something different, I love most of them because things just flow naturally as I go through my day. I try to throw out any bad ones and replace them with good ones.
It’s always good to please the Lord and we should be in a routine that includes putting him first. I try to start my day with prayer and devotionals. My mind is fresh and clear at the beginning of the day. That is what I call a routine of perfection!
Matthew 5:48 (AMP) - “You, therefore, will be perfect [growing into spiritual maturity both in mind and character, actively integrating godly values into your daily life], as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
