Our church held services today and it was amazing! Yes, it was live-streamed from our pastor’s home, but it was an anointed word and done really well. There were some technical issues that will be ironed out, should this Covid-19 issue continue much longer, but God’s Word was preached and will never be squelched by this attack from the enemy. It was a decision that was made after much prayer and consultation with others in leadership and authoritative positions, and our pastors moved forward in faith and sound judgement.
Whether your church chose to hold public services, go live-stream like ours, or take a short break, there is no judgement or condemnation, as long as your leadership made their decision after praying and seeking out the Lord’s will for your congregation. He honors humble and faithful hearts and He is a protector of His people.
Take this time to think of what is most important to you and rethink your priorities. Focus on what is good and perfect and pleasing to God. Think about what has not seemed so important in light of all the panic you have seen around you. Take note of all the kind acts you may have witnessed as people step up to help others who are without the vital resources they need. Ignore the ignorant and self-serving few that are out there. Pray for our leaders and be a conduit for God’s love and blessing. Stay connected with church!
2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT) - “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.”
