I am a man that lives by faith in God. He has proven time and again to be true to His word. He has never failed me and always sustains me through hard times. But living a life of faith doesn’t mean I throw caution to the wind and trust God to do all the work and planning for me… or in spite of me.
He calls us to use wisdom and prudence as we follow Him in our daily walk. He expects us to be prepared for the unexpected and for any unseen dangers that may await us. If we do that, and take proper precautions, we will be ready for whatever comes our way. Only a fool plows ahead recklessly and suffers the consequences of poor planning.
The wise person depends on faith and prudence to guide them through their life. God honors those who take action in planning and listen to wisdom and sound advice. Do that, and all will go well for you!
Proverbs 27:12 (NLT) - “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”
