Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) contains the biological information that makes us unique. It is passed down from generation to generation during reproduction. In recent years it has been made famous in crime scene investigations and family tree research. It explains how we can look so much like our parents or relatives further up the family line.
Who could have designed us in such an intricate and complex way? We were created by design and with intention. It was no accident or big bang that caused our family genes to be similar and yet each one unique. Only a Divine Creator could have done this!
God planned our lives and formed us from the womb. He knew us before we existed. He wove our genes and chromosomes together and formed us into the person He wanted us to be. The complexities of each of the systems within our physical bodies, including our DNA, leave no doubt that God is the potter and we are the clay.
Psalms 139:13 (NLT) - “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
