Obviously, that is an impossible task, but hear me out. Jesus tells the story of a widow that took her case to a judge who ignored her for a while. But he finally gave her justice because she drove him crazy by constantly wearing him out with her requests. Jesus used her and the unjust judge as an example to us.
God will certainly give us, his chosen ones, justice as we call to him day and night with our requests. He will not put us off like the unjust judge in Jesus’ story. Just as this woman persisted in bringing her appeals repeatedly to the evil judge, who held her and everyone else in great contempt, God wants us to continually bring our appeals and requests to him. The difference is that he does not hold great contempt for us. He loves us and cares for us deeply.
He used this story as an example to encourage us to make our requests known to him, to pray without ceasing, and to cast all our cares upon him. So, drive the Lord crazy with your constant requests!
Luke 18:4-5 (NLT) - “The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’”
