My son recently purchased a new car after a few weeks of searching for the “right” one. He looked at quite a variety of Toyota’s, Honda’s, BMW’s, Subaru’s, and Mini Coopers before deciding on the Subaru Impreza WRX. This Subaru is one that I had never heard of until he told me that he was looking for one. I began to spot them everywhere after he told me about them!
A lot of things in life are right in front of us that we never take notice of until someone points them out to us. We live in such a fast-paced world where everything happens in an instant and it is so easy to miss something or someone that crosses our path on a daily basis. Technology and instant gratification are a big part of the reason that we miss so much of the simple things in life.
Sometimes it is good to unplug and force ourselves to slow down and take a look at what is surrounding us. Take note of the people and places that occupy our immediate space and let all of your senses take in the beauty and wonder of where God has placed you. Find out what is hiding in plain sight!
John 1:14 (NLT) - “So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.”
