Today is my one and only grandson’s birthday. I cannot believe that he is already eight years old! I am so proud of him and I love him so much! I really wish I could be with him on his special day and celebrate it with him. I love all my granddaughters and each one is very special, but this is his day and I wish him a very happy birthday!
I was blessed with one son and one (so far) grandson. I have an abundance of girls in my life and words cannot begin to express how I feel about them, but there is always something about boys. They push all your buttons for sure, but they also hold a special place in your heart as a father and grandfather. I’ll focus on my grandson today, since it’s his birthday.
He has such a loving, tender heart and shows such compassion for everything and everyone. He loves building things and learning what makes things tick. I can see his mind at work all the time trying to understand things and figure them out. He’s very creative and artistic and I can’t wait to see what path he chooses because God has blessed him with so many natural gifts and talents.
God made each of us uniquely to be just exactly the way we are, just like he did with my awesome grandson. Take the gifts he gave you and use them for his glory. You’ll have fun in the process!
