As if decisions aren’t hard enough to make, throw in a lot of distractions and they get even harder. We have several choices and a lot of decisions to make in the coming days. Without going into the details of it all, we also have quite a few moving parts as well. I wish we were more decisive, but that is just not who we are. We pray over things for a long time before finally taking action. That’s not actually a bad thing, as long as we aren’t overthinking it.
Sometimes indecisiveness can lead to stress and cause you to miss out on an opportunity. There is a fine line between taking too much time and rushing into something. It is always a good thing to seek the Lord and rely on his wisdom and guidance. Reach out to others as well because the Word tells us to surround ourselves with wise counselors.
Proverbs 20:18 (NLT) - “Plans succeed through good counsel; don’t go to war without wise advice.”
