Last night was capped by worship songs around the campfire. It is amazing how awesome 11 men with one guitar can sound singing outdoors, lifting our voices in praise to God. We sometimes hit the right notes and even remembered some of the words, but our hearts were in tune with the Lord.
This morning we had our own church service. The message was short, but the discussion was awesome. We shared from our hearts and spoke with honesty and openness. We will all go home at the end of the trip a closer and healthier group of men. We are already discussing a repeat of the trip next year.
It will be great to get home to our wives, families, and comfortable beds, but it will be sad when we break camp. Some are leaving today and most have one more night. Time to sign off and enjoy the larger group for a few more hours...
