All our bags are packed and we're ready to go (well, mostly). A few odds and ends left to pack and put away, some coffee to drink and muffins to eat, and then we will check out and get our wonderfully tired (and sore/stiff) bones out of here.
I think the squirrels will miss us the most. We have been easy pickin's for them each time they have gathered themselves for a full-on assault into our camp and made off with potato chips or a piece of bread or two. No, we did not have any squirrel mulligan as I threatened in a previous blog.
Christians and Boy Scouts are great at leaving a campsite better than they found it and we will endeavor to do just that. We will also be better when we leave than we were when we arrived, albeit more tired. It has been a time of fun, fellowship, and spiritual rejuvenation and one I won't soon forget.
Blessings, save travels, and Godspeed to my fellow campers. See you tomorrow to my beloved blog followers!
Jude 1:25 (NLT) - "All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen."
