I want to remain faithful to getting my blog out, but it is hard to do while camping! I just spent 30 minutes trying to get my computer to see the hotspot on my iPhone. But I shall endeavor to press on and entertain you with my ramblings.
Men are men and last night did not disappoint! It was cool enough to have a campfire and, as foretold in my previous blog, stories and laughter were the order of the night. It was great catching up with old friends and making a new one.
Wildlife can be an interesting and unexpected part of the total experience. The local squirrels have made themselves at home in our campsite, making numerous excursions inside our perimeter and attempting to make off with our chips and any other food that we didn't keep an eye on. Squirrel mulligan could be on the menu soon!
This time away from the hustle and bustle of our every day lives gives us time to share what everyone is going through and what has happened since the last time we were together. Catching up with old friends is a joy and a blessing.
Make the most of every moment now. You never know when you will be reminiscing about this time later!
