I thought this trip was all about my grandchildren. They are a huge part of it for me, but it has also made me realize how much I have missed my three children. The time that I have spent with each of them has been priceless to me and it brings me to tears that my trip will soon be over. I already had to say goodbye to my younger daughter and I only have a week left with my other two.
They are all so precious to me and I am incredibly proud of them. I would not trade them for anything in the world. We often say we wish we could go back and do things differently, and I am no exception. But if I did anything different, they would not be exactly who they are today. I have the most amazing daughters and son that I could ever hope to ask for. God has blessed me so much and I could never thank him enough.
There is Fathers Day, Mothers Day, even Grandparents Day, but I don’t think there is a Children’s Day. Please don’t tell Hallmark or they will invent it just to sell more cards! But my kids deserve one. Sorry, I’m feeling extra emotional today and I just want to express my overwhelming love for my children.
It’s hard to believe, but God loves us even more than we could love our own children!
