When I think about all of the things that I know about God and the amazing things that he has done for me, I am blown away by it all. I stand in awe and wonder of how the Creator of it all cares for me, personally. He knows my every thought and need. I can only begin to understand how vast his wisdom and power must be as I contemplate all that I have read in his Word and received from his presence in my life.
But the Bible only reveals a tiny fraction of who he truly is and we have only experienced what he has chosen to reveal to us. I believe that we could not handle a full, face to face encounter with him. Our minds could not comprehend the infinite wisdom that he possesses or understand the things he knows. He calls us to trust and obey. That is enough for me!
1 Corinthians 13:12 (NLT) - “Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.”
