Clear Decisions

I saw this today and it makes a lot of sense. Maybe somebody besides just me needs to see this today.

Don’t let your emotions be your decision maker. STOP and PRAY! One moment in God’s presence changes EVERYTHING!

I can’t tell you how many times I have made an emotional decision rather than a clear-headed one. More often than not, those have turned out to be bad decisions. It amazes how much taking time to stop and pray settles me down and clears my head. God speaks to my heart and either affirms my decision or gives me a better choice.

I have learned that if an instant decision is required it is either because of poor planning on my part or the enemy has thrown an obstacle onto the path God has given me. I will usually stay on course in those instances until I have taken the time to pray and seek the Lord’s guidance. That is how you make clear decisions.

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) - “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”
