Traveling Mercies

As I’m writing this, my wife is about to complete her long, two-day drive. The trip has been uneventful and safe. God has answered our prayers for traveling mercies yet again, which is no surprise. I am forever grateful for the grace, mercy, and love that he pours out on us. We always pray before any trip because we want his favor to rest upon us. He looks beyond the natural worry and anxiety that we have and keeps his hand upon us as we travel.

The power of prayer can never be over emphasized in all we do. In addition to praying over trips that we take, we pray over decisions that we make, food that we eat, people that we love and care about, and anything else important to us. God is faithful and true and he does what he says he will do. Reach out to him and trust in his Word!

Isaiah 55:11 (NLT) - “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”
