We have been geographically separated many times through our nearly 40 years of marriage and it never gets easier. Each time proves how deep our love is for each other as it becomes harder to say goodbye when one of us departs on a trip. It has almost always been me leaving for a work-related trip, but in recent years my wife has been the one hitting the road to see grandchildren and/or haul personal effects east for our future move.
I am continually amazed at how God has blessed me with such an amazing woman and given us such a wonderful life. We can endure the periods of geographical separation because our times together are so beautiful. He joined us together and nothing can separate us!
Matthew 19:6 (NLT) - “Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”
