Happy birthday USA! I love this country and was so proud to serve it in my two careers. I’m so thankful for those who continue to serve today and honored to stand alongside my fellow veterans. There is no other country in the world that I would rather live in and I would gladly serve it again.
Our flag flies proudly at my house and I get chills every time I hear The Star Spangled Banner, especially when it’s accompanied by a military band. I spent many years in the Marine Corps honoring, country, Corps, and our flag, and I’ll never stop. These are part of who I am.
I love you and served you all equally, regardless of any of our differences or anything that divides our nation today. Now I serve a Savior who is Lord of all, who loves you unconditionally. He gave his life for you.
Let today be your Independence Day and give your heart to him if you haven’t already. Have a blessed and happy 4th of July, America!
