This morning was a wonderful example of why we need fellowship with one another. Our church had a well-organized event that was designed to minister to the local community around us, and it succeeded in a big way! But one of the important things that I got out of ministering to the children and their families was doing it with my church family.
It was a full morning of praying, working, ministering, talking, laughing, and eating together. Everyone had a great time and worked as one. It was an amazing day and I can’t wait to hear all the stories that will surface from connecting with those we were able to reach today and share God’s love with.
I always emphasize the importance of fellowship and let me continue to encourage you to get involved with one of your local churches. Christians are an awesome group of people that love God and are working together to be more like him. We all have a long way to go, but let’s go on that wonderful journey together!
Acts 2:42 (NLT) - “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.”
