Way back in the 70’s, during my Christian youth group days, we sang an old song called “Pass It On”. It started with the phrase, “It only takes a spark to get a fire going.” It’s a beautiful song about spreading God’s love to all of those around you. Once you have experienced his love, you will want to pass it on.
You can be the spark that ignites a fire in the lives of those you love and care about. Someone else was that spark for you and lit the flame of love for God in your heart. Now pass that love on to others. Let others come to know him by sharing your testimony with them. It’s as simple as telling them your story of how you came to know Christ and receive him. That is what passing it on means. It only takes a spark!
