Constantly United in Prayer

Do you have a group that you meet with that are constantly united in prayer? This could be a group of fellow believers, your family, or your spouse. Whenever two or more of you are gathered together in prayer, Jesus is there in the midst of you. There is power in prayer!

I have witnessed so many miracles and answers to prayer when I have joined others in prayer. I firmly believe God’s Word. He tells us over and over again to pray. Jesus often prayed to the Father and he taught us to pray. There is no great mystery of how to pray or when to pray. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results, according to James 5:16b (NLT).

Right after Jesus’ crucifixion and ascension to heaven, the apostles met together, along with other disciples. They were constantly united in prayer as they awaited the promised gift of the Holy Spirit. They had witnessed the death and resurrection of Jesus and they were about to embark on carrying out the Great Commission. The Gospel exploded forth from this group of unified prayer warriors who were direct witnesses to the salvation message that we all have received today. Let’s all be constantly united in prayer!

Acts 1:14a (NLT) - “They all met together and were constantly united in prayer.”
