Jesus is a straight shooter. He pulls no punches. Can you imagine a conversation with him today while trying to justify one of your sins?
ME: “Lord, I want to (fill in the blank) because our laws changed and it is legal to do so today. Not only that, it is totally accepted in our society.”
JESUS: “My son, I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. I told you that in my word. Have you forgotten that I am the Word?”
ME: (Silence).
Hebrews 13:8-9a (NLT) - “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So do not be attracted to strange, new ideas.”
