One Thing is Certain

I have so much going on right now in my life and I feel like I don't have time to sit down and catch my breath. Many of the things are exciting and wonderful and some of the things are a bit overwhelming.

In the midst of it all, I will joyfully take the time out of my week and attend church this morning to recharge my spiritual batteries. It is just as much of a routine as brushing my teeth and combing what little hair I have left, but much more important (in the eternal sense). Corporate worship, which is fellowship with others, is a vital part of my walk with God.

I also take time, most often first thing in the morning, to have a daily devotional and prayer time with God. This gives me time to hear from God and to share my personal worship, thoughts, and needs with him. This is a time of fellowship between him and me.

When I do not get these two things... corporate and private fellowship times... I am missing key elements in my routine that get me through the busyness that is my life today. One thing is certain. God never changes and his love is constant. He is always there to love me and take me in. He is there for you, too!
