Happy Easter Sunday everyone. Christians often refer to Easter Sunday as Resurrection Day, because on the third day after He was crucified, as prophesied, Jesus rose from the dead. We serve a resurrected Lord and Savior. He is alive and He sits at the right hand of God the Father to intercede on our behalf. He paid the debt that He did not owe… the debt that we could never pay… our sins. He is the Lamb of God that was slain for the sins of the world.
We worship the living resurrected King, who is alive forevermore. He redeemed us with His blood and He calls us His own. Those who choose to accept Him as Lord and Savior may receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Nothing is more exciting or important than this! If you have not already received Him into your heart, do so today. Ask Him to be your Savior. Say yes to Jesus today!
Enjoy this special day today as we celebrate our Lord’s resurrection. Thank Him for His love and sacrifice. Spend time with your loved ones and family. If you can’t be physically together, call or chat on social media. This is a day to celebrate!
Matthew 28:5-6a (NLT) - Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!’ he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen.”
