Over Anxious

I feel comfortable that our plans are somewhat set and I know we are a short time away from accomplishing them. It seems that we have so much to do and so little time to do it. Do you ever get to the point where you wish you could just snap your fingers and fast forward to the end?

I pray daily over it all, but it’s hard not to be over anxious. I’m dealing with a wide range of emotions. It’s hard to pick up and leave a place you’ve called home for so many years. There are hard goodbyes to make, a beautiful home to sell, and host of other things tugging at our heartstrings.

On the other end, however, is a new beginning. We have family and friends, a beautiful “new” home, financial freedom, and the golden years of retirement awaiting us. I may be a bit over anxious at times, but I have an unwavering faith and trust that God will bring us through it!

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) - “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
