It is not the best idea to do a late night blog at the end of a long week, but I had an extremely busy day today followed by an evening with friends that I hosted at my house. My wife was away at a conference so I was left to be the host and the cleaner upper of things.
Teamwork is an underrated concept to say the least! I definitely do not take my wife for granted and I appreciate all that she does for me. It is never more clear to me than when she is away. It is a perfect reminder of all that she does behind the scenes and I hope that I come away from evenings like this with a greater appreciation for what she goes through every day.
I could not do what she does and survive it. I work hard and earn the salary for us, but to me it is nothing compared to what she does. She worked really hard to have the house looking so nice for my guests to come over tonight before she took off for her conference. She takes great pride and ownership in our home and I am so thankful for that.
I truly think of my wife as a "Proverbs 31" woman!
