I have listened to people say, “I feel like nobody loves me.” Although it breaks my heart to hear those words, it simply is not true. There is someone who loves you… always. I will explain in a moment. Perhaps we have all gone through periods of time when we have felt unloved. We have been wronged, mistreated, or even abused by others. Maybe even life itself seems to be stacked against you.
I can almost guarantee you that there are people in your life that love you and would support you if you let them in. But there is no doubt that you have a Savior whose love for you has no boundaries, no limits, and never ends. He sees your hurt, feels your pain, and knows your every thought. He is waiting for you to draw near to him and fully trust in him. He will never leave you or forsake you.
I am still trying to grasp the fullness of his love. Sometimes I take my eyes off of Jesus and feel separated from his love. But then he demonstrates his love for me yet again by forgiving me and holding me in his loving arms. There is no greater love!
Ephesians 3:18 (NLT) - “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”
