I have been spending a lot of time in my father’s home in recent months. It has always been a welcoming and safe place to be, filled with unrelenting and unconditional love.
My father is one of the most wonderful and as close to perfect examples on this planet of what a great father looks like. I have never doubted his love for me and his commitment to our family. He has always been unwavering in his loyalty to us and faithfulness to our mother. I love him beyond words.
I know that an even more special place has been prepared for you and me by our Father in heaven. His love for all is truly unconditional and it is love in the highest degree. Jesus will return to take us home at a moment in time to that place. It brings great joy and comfort to know that I have a place in my Father’s home!
John 14:1-3 (NLT) - “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.”
