I believe that we would all agree that our nation is in dire need of healing and restoration. Our national sins are great and numerous. We have engraved our currency with “In God We Trust” and yet there are many who want to remove that. Prayer has been removed from our schools and a mockery has been made of God’s plan for our families. Evil and corrupt men and women in all political parties with agendas contrary to Godly principles and values have infiltrated all levels of government.
Our society has become angry, selfish, divisive, arrogant, and given over to a victim mentality. The church has remained largely silent and submissive to the whims and manipulations of loud and ungodly splintered voices, giving the enemy a foothold to destroy our country from within. It is time to wake up!
God calls for us to seek His face, humble ourselves and pray, and turn from our wicked ways. He promises that if we will do this He will heal our land. Pray for this great country of ours to truly be one nation (united), under God (under His direction and authority), indivisible (unable to be divided or separated), with liberty (freedom) and justice (just and equal treatment) for all (everyone)!
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NLT) - “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”
