A Return on Investment (ROI) measures the gain or loss generated on an investment relative to the amount of money invested. We all want to make money on any real estate, stock, or other investments that we make, right? We take a risk with our hard-earned dollars in hopes that we will make a profit and, hopefully, not a loss.
A wise person will do a lot of research and investigation before committing funds to an investment in order to increase the odds of a positive ROI. If you do your due diligence you will most likely invest wisely and build a good retirement portfolio over the years as you do this.
The best ROI of your time is to read the Bible and pay attention to what it says. If you do, God will reward you with wisdom and foresight to prepare you for the future as you invest in eternity. Your reward will be great as you listen to his voice, obey his commands, and carry out his will for your life. You will receive a tremendous return on investment of your time and money!
Romans 12:8 (NLT) - “If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.”
