My wife is such an awesome cook and baker. She makes the best cookies in the world! If I didn’t take them into work to share them, I would be bigger than a barn. My favorite are the chocolate chip cookies, but the peanut butter cookies with Hershey kisses on top are hard to resist as well.
My coworkers are always asking when she is going to bake another batch. One even sent home a gift card for her to buy more ingredients to make some. It’s just one of her many giftings and it gives her great delight to share it with others.
God gives us gifts to share with others. What good would it do to keep them to ourselves? We are blessed the most when we bless others. It’s the biblical principle of giving.
Luke 6:38 (NLT) - “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
