You Never Know Who Is Watching You
It is often said that imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Never is it more clear than to catch your child mimicking everything you say or do. This could be good or bad depending upon your behavior at that particular moment! I caught one of those moments about four years ago when my grandson pulled out his toy lawn mower and followed his dad around the back yard with the real mower.
Have you ever been surprised by certain "inappropriate" words coming from your child's mouth and wonder where they learned that? Could it be from you... or perhaps your favorite television show?
Children want to be grown up so give them good examples to imitate. You will be amazed at the wonderful memories, laughable moments, and great times ahead!
"Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it." (Proverbs 22:6 - NLT)
