Starting Tomorrow

How many ideas do you have running through your head that you plan to "start tomorrow" that you should have started yesterday... or, most likely, years ago? Starting tomorrow, I will set aside 15 minutes at the start of my day to read my Bible. I have told myself, or declared to others, that I will start my running program tomorrow. I will cut out sweets, sodas, or snacks tomorrow.

I always say these type of things with all sincerity but I rarely follow through. I have had, at various times in my life, great running and workout routines, and I was much healthier for it. Each time I took a break from it and the routine was interrupted, I found it to be extremely difficult to get back into it.

Think about today and how you spent or will be spending your time. How can you implement those things that you need to start doing tomorrow? Write them down and schedule them into tomorrow so that you can easily plug them into your day.

When you wake up in the morning, using my example, get out your Bible and spend the first 15 minutes reading it. Do that every morning until it becomes part of your routine. Follow that pattern every day with each of your "starting tomorrows". You will soon find yourself healthier spiritually and physically.
