The Importance of Church Family

Today was my first day back to church since returning from my 3+ week trip. I have definitely missed my church family, but the warm greetings and hugs I received was a gentle reminder of how important they are to me.

We have moved many times throughout my careers and our top priority has always been to find a church home. It has been a key factor in establishing deep roots and happiness in each community we have lived in. Fellowship with other believers keeps us grounded in God’s Word and holds us accountable in our Christian walk.

If you don’t have a church home now, find one and get involved. Your family is waiting for you with arms wide open!

Hebrews 10:25 (NLT) - “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
